Carol Dennehy, RN, CRRN, LCP
Prior to joining ORN in 2001, Carol was a nurse case manager and interim director of case management for HealthSouth Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, a Community Resource Consultant to the Mass Brain Injury Association and a Site Coordinator and Presenter for the Brains at Risk Program. Carol has over 25 years of case management experience with individuals who have sustained traumatic and catastrophic injuries including: Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Amputations, Burns, and Orthopedic Injuries. Carol brings an unparalleled understanding of complex disability needs, treatment options and community resources to her clients as they access medical care across settings and over time. She is a skilled communicator and a highly effective liaison to facilitate best outcomes for maximum medical recovery and safe return to work. Additionally, Carol is a trained Ergonomist who presents seminars to employers regarding Safety and Biomechanics in the work place and conducts individual ergonomic assessments. She is also an Opioid Care Coordinator for the Opioid Alternative Treatment Pathway through the Department of Industrial Accidents in Massachusetts. Carol is a certified Life Care Planner.
