Stephanie Hart Nowell, MA, CAGS, CRC, LRC
Stephanie is a seasoned vocational rehabilitation consultant with over 30 years experience providing counseling, vocational assessments and vocational rehabilitation services. She completed her graduate education at Assumption College earning a Masters degree and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies. She is nationally certified as a rehabilitation counselor and is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as well as the State of Rhode Island. Stephanie has a broad base of experience working with adults and children in vocational, educational, and therapeutic settings and, as such, is adept at handling complex cases, particularly those involving dual-diagnoses. Stephanie has completed specialized training in ergonomics and has worked with countless employers developing transitional return to work programs, conducting worksite evaluations and performing ergonomic assessments. Her expertise is frequently called upon to conduct evaluations for litigation purposes and to provide expert witness testimony in personal injury and matrimonial matters.
Nancy L. Segreve, MA, CRC, CCM
Nancy earned her Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, with specialized training in vocational evaluation, from Assumption College. She is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and case manager who has been providing vocational evaluation, counseling, and rehabilitation services for 30 years on behalf of adults who have sustained injuries or illnesses that impact employment. As an account manager, Nancy also utilizes her vocational expertise to assist employers who are concerned with effectively managing disability issues in the workplace. Since 2002, she has served as an expert vocational witness in various court systems where her training, experience, and specialized knowledge of employment issues have been called upon. Nancy is presently on the board of directors for the New England Chapter of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals.
Sue Chase, MA, CAGS, CRC
Sue offers over 20 years experience as a vocational rehabilitation consultant and vocational expert witness. Through her work as a consultant with ORN performing vocational assessments, counseling, job development and placement services she has developed a depth of knowledge that allows her to handle sensitive and complicated assignments with optimal results. She is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who is frequently requested by attorneys due to her level of expertise in vocational assessments, labor market research, and testimony related to industrial accidents, the Federal Longshore Harbor Act, and civil litigation matters. Sue is qualified to provide services in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and through the Office of Workers Compensation at the Federal Department of Labor. Sue is an Adjunct Professor in the Rehabilitation Counseling program at Assumption College.
Carol Dennehy, RN, CRRN
Prior to joining ORN in 2001, Carol was a nurse case manager and interim director of case management for HealthSouth Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, a Community Resource Consultant to the Mass Brain Injury Association and a Site Coordinator and Presenter for the Brains at Risk Program. Carol has over 25 years of case management experience with individuals who have sustained traumatic and catastrophic injuries including: Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Amputations, Burns, and Orthopedic Injuries. Carol brings an unparalleled understanding of complex disability needs, treatment options and community resources to her clients as they access medical care across settings and over time. She is a skilled communicator and a highly effective liaison to facilitate best outcomes for maximum medical recovery and safe return to work. Additionally, Carol is a trained Ergonomist who presents seminars to employers regarding Safety and Biomechanics in the work place and conducts individual ergonomic assessments.
Danielle Hetu, MA, QRC, CRC
Danielle is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who is qualified to provide services in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She has been providing vocational rehabilitation services to youth and adults with disabilities in both the private and public sector since 1997. She has a strong background in vocational assessment through the administration of standardized testing, situational assessments and career counseling to develop employment goals for individuals with physical disabilities, mental illness, and substance abuse issues. Danielle served as a faculty member at Salve Regina where she taught in the Masters of Arts Rehabilitation program and supervised graduate students in their clinical placements.
Ann Marie Latella, MS, CRC
Ann Marie is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who has been providing vocational rehabilitation services to adults with disabilities in both non-profit and the private sector since 2000. Prior to joining ORN, she was a Vocational Evaluator and the Assistant Director of Job Training and Employment for Easter Seals Massachusetts where she specialized in vocational assessments, testing and job placement, as well as job coaching with traumatically injured adults. She brings this expertise to her work as a vocational consultant facilitating employment for adults who have sustained injuries as well as in providing labor market surveys and expert testimony at the Industrial Accident Board.
Corey Mallette, MA, CRC, QRC
Corey is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who is qualified to provide services in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Services include vocational assessments, counseling and placement services, job analyses, ergonomic assessments, employability evaluations and labor market research. Employer based services include functional job analyses and the creation of transitional return to work programs for use individually or as a comprehensive program.Prior to coming to ORN, Corey spent several years as a Vocational Counselor at the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission where she developed individualized rehabilitation plans based upon client’s aptitudes, education levels, physical abilities and career goals.
Sara graduated from the University of Massachusetts with her degree in Psychology and began working in the non-profit sector, focusing on Psychiatric Rehabilitation and working with individuals who live with mental health disorders. Sara quickly took on roles with more responsibility and in 2013, she became the Clinical Program Director at Vinfen in the Psych Rehabilitation division. While in this position, Sara performed administrative duties while working with individuals to identify personal and employment goals. Sara began working for ORN in the summer of 2016 as a Job Development Specialist. In this position, Sara provides job placement assistance including resume preparation, mock interviews and identification of job leads to facilitate employment.
Catherine Reno, RN, BSN, CCM
Nurse Case Manager
Catherine has worked as a Certified Nurse Case Manager for over 20 years with extensive experience coordinating medical services for individuals with catastrophic injuries, burns, amputations, spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. Catherine completed her BSN from Vermont College at Norwich University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and subsequently completed her MBA in Health Care Management at Western New England College. Catherine handles cases in Massachusetts, including Cape Cod, as well as Rhode Island.
Francine Yencho, MS, CRC
Francine has provided vocational rehabilitation to the industrial injured population exclusively since 1995 and is well known for her outstanding placement record with her clients. She is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who is qualified to provide services in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Francine is highly experienced in conducting employability evaluations and labor market research and is often called upon to provide her opinion with testimony at the Department of Industrial Accidents as well as at the NH Department of Labor.
Cassie commenced employment with Occupational Resource Network in 2015 and can be found in our main office Monday through Thursday each week. She handles all of the internal administrative matters. She coordinates referrals, responds to inquiries, and acts as a liaison between clients, customers and ORN consultants, who are often on the road meeting with clients. She is always happy to provide information and direct your call so you receive immediate assistance.
Ora commenced employment with Occupational Resource Network in 2016 and works at the Westerly, RI office. Ora provides general office support to the consultants and is available to assist customers when needed.
